Lee Hoffman
Lee Hoffman, CIC, LIC, CPIA has been an insurance professional since 1971. He is well known within the industry and has authored articles on insurance coverage, claims, and related matters. He is the owner of Lee M Hoffman & Associates, LLC, an insurance litigation, claims and enterprise risk management consulting firm and has served as both Consulting Expert and Testifying Expert. He provides enterprise risk management consulting to corporate counsel and executives on matters related to insurance, M&A, and contract negotiations related to insurance, indemnification, and risk transfer agreements.
He is an agent, risk manager and insurance coverage and contract consultant with 1st Source Insurance of South Bend, Indiana and is a former owner of the Hoffman Insurance Group, Taylor & Moyer Insurance Agency and former manager of the Independent Insurance Center of Petosky Michigan.
He has earned the designations of Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC), Licensed Insurance Counselor (LIC), and Certified Professional Insurance Agent (CPIA). He holds licenses in Indiana as a P&C and Life, Health and Accident Agent and in Michigan as Non-Resident P&C Agent and Licensed Insurance Counselor. He is a Michigan Licensed Residential Builder and is on the Southwestern Michigan College Board of Advisors for their Construction Trades Program.
He is Past President and active member of the American Association of Insurance Management Consultants (AAIMCo.com), the industry's leading trade association for fee-based insurance and risk management consultants, educators, and court experts.
Mr. Hoffman is also a former member of the Michigan Association of Property & Liability Insurance Counselors (MAPLIC) and served on the Citizens/Hanover Insurance Co. Indiana Agents Advisory Council, Indiana & Michigan Agents Advisory Council and the Agency/Company Automation Advisory Council.
