ALEXANDRIA, Virginia, Oct. 16, 2015—The Big “I” Diversity Task Force has received a 2015 TOP 25 ERG & Diversity Council Honors Award –the only annual national award that recognizes, honors and celebrates the outstanding contributions and achievements of Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), Business Resource Groups (BRGs) and Diversity Council groups.
"The Big ‘I’ Diversity Task Force is honored to receive the TOP 25 ERG & Diversity Council Honors Award for a second year in a row,” says Juan Padron, Big “I” Diversity Task Force chairman and SafeGuard Insurance Agency owner in McAllen, Texas. “We are excited to see our efforts recognized, especially in light of the growing popularity of this conference and the heightened competition for the award this year.”
The organization received more than 500 entries and selected the top 25 for the prestigious award. The Big “I” Diversity Task Force placed sixteenth.
This is the seventh year for the ERG & Council Honors Award™ which was established in 2008 by the Association of ERGs & Councils and PRISM International, Inc. Other recipients include the American Airlines – Diversity Advisory Council, and General Motors Employee Resource Groups’ Council, Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center Diversity Council and Progressive Insurance Network of Empowered Women. The Association of ERGs & Councils honored the recipients at a dinner ceremony this week during the 2015 ERG & Council Conference in Alexandria, Virginia.
