WASHINGTON, D.C., Jan. 11, 2017 — The Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America (IIABA or the Big “I”) today congratulates Quincy L. Branch, president & CEO of Branch Benefits Consultants in Las Vegas, on his appointment to the Federal Advisory Committee on Insurance (FACI). FACI is a committee composed of various state government officials, insurance professionals and consumer advocates that advises the Federal Insurance Office (FIO).
“Quincy is an active Big ’I’ member and leader who previously served as chair of the Big ‘I’ National Young Agents Committee,” says Charles Symington, Big “I” senior vice president for external and government affairs. “Quincy will do an excellent job advising the FIO as the voice of independent insurance agents and brokers on FACI. The Big ‘I’ congratulates him on his appointment.”
Branch is a second generation insurance professional who started his insurance career in college working for his father’s agency and has continued to climb the ranks in the industry. He is an active member of the Las Vegas business community. In 2013, Branch was honored by Vegas, Inc. as one of Las Vegas’s 40 under 40. Branch was also selected as one of Employee Benefits Advisors’ 10 Rising Stars in 2013 and Insurance Business America’s Hot 100 for 2015.
Branch earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration-management at the University of Nevada Las Vegas. He and his wife Tamika have two children.
