ALEXANDRIA, Virginia, June 22, 2017–InVEST, the insurance industry’s premier classroom-to-career education program, recently announced that Bill Post has joined its national board. Post is State Auto vice president, people strategies and services business partners and talent acquisition.
“InVEST is proud to announce Bill Post has joined its board of directors,” says Cindy Hower, InVEST board chair and president of Kellerman Insurance, an independent agency in Holton, Kansas. “Bill brings a wealth of diverse experience to the InVEST board of directors and we look forward to continuing to work with him to improve the program.”
Post joined the State Auto team in 2016 as the employee relations officer and has climbed through the ranks. Prior to his insurance career, Post was a practicing attorney. He spent 12 years at the Columbus office of the law firm Baker & Hostetler LLP, where he made partner, and he also worked as in-house counsel for The Huntington National Bank. Post earned a Bachelor of Arts in Diplomacy & Foreign Affairs at Miami University and a law degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Law.

Founded in 1970 and based in Alexandria, Virginia, InVEST promotes insurance education in order to attract individuals to pursue a career in the insurance industry.
