WASHINGTON, D.C., Dec. 8, 2010 — The Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America (IIABA or the Big “I”) today congratulated Rep. Spencer Bachus (R-Ala.) for being named the next chairman of the House Financial Services Committee.

Rep. Bachus is in his ninth term representing Alabama’s sixth congressional district located in the central part of the state, including Birmingham.
