ALEXANDRIA, Virginia, May 25, 2016 – InVEST, the insurance industry’s premier classroom-to-career education program, is pleased to announce that Amanda Taylor is the newest member of its board. Taylor is QBE North America vice president of strategic initiatives for the company’s Standard Lines – Property & Casualty Division. QBE North America is part of QBE Insurance Group, Limited, one of the largest insurers and reinsurers worldwide.

Taylor has nearly 15 years of experience in corporate strategy and marketing. In her current role, she is part of the division’s leadership team, and drives strategic and operational initiatives focused on growth and customer engagement. Prior to this role, Taylor served as the carrier’s vice president of internal communications in North America, with responsibility for the messaging and positioning of the organization. Taylor began her career at LendingTree, LLC where she held positions of increasing responsibility in marketing and corporate communications. Taylor is a graduate of Wake Forest University and earned an MBA from Queens University of Charlotte.
