Big “I” Responds to Google Compare Closure

Google’s exit creates opportunities for Big “I” agents and TrustedChoice.com in digital universe.

ALEXANDRIA, Virginia, Feb. 23, 2016— The Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America (IIABA or the Big “I”) today issued the following statement from Robert Rusbuldt, Big “I” president and CEO:

“With the shuttering of Google Compare, independent insurance agents are well-positioned to take advantage of the marketplace void via TrustedChoice.com: the online platform that links consumers with independent agents and independent agency companies. The closing of Google Compare doesn’t lessen the consumer appetite for online shopping.
