Want to find out how other state young agent committee (YAC) leaders are engaging more young agents in their activities, communications and volunteer roles? Are you looking for ways to boost attendance to conferences? If your state association has a young agents committee or is looking for a way to get more young professionals engaged with your association, you need a seat at the table during the Big “I” Young Agents Leadership Institute.

 

The event will be Sept. 12-13 Grand Rapids Mich. and we have programming designed to help young up-and-coming leaders and state young agent staff liaisons succeed in their leadership positions. The line-up includes the Young Agents Leadership Luncheon--a two-hour forum for chairs and liaisons to share what's working in their states. Tips for success and challenges will all be put on the table.

 

Please send your YAC volunteers and association staff to the annual gathering.  $500 scholarships are available for select first-time attendees of the Big “I” Young Agents Leadership Institute to help defray the costs of attending.  Scholarships are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Supplies are limited. Please ask eligible young agents to complete the application and return it to the state association for consideration. It is up to the discretion of the state association to submit an application to the national Young Agents Committee.  Additionally, a $1000 scholarship will be presented to the state young agents committee who has the most young agents in attendance at the Big “I” Fall Leadership Institute.
