STACY HEATHERINGTON IS NEW TRUSTED CHOICE® BRAND MANAGER
Will focus on national recruitment of new agency members
ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 26, 2005—Stacy Heatherington is the new brand manager of Trusted Choice®—the national consumer brand identity created to educate consumers about the benefits of using independent insurance agents and brokers, announces Jeffrey A. Myers, program executive director.
In her new role, Heatherington’s primary goal will be to keep current Trusted Choice® participants apprised of program progress and benefits, and to drive from the national level the recruitment of new agency participants. She will work directly with Trusted Choice® state association chairmen to develop new ideas, tools and resources to market the program to Big “I” member agencies. Heatherington also will travel to Big “I” state association and local board events as the Trusted Choice® representative.
“I am thrilled to have Stacy as the first brand manager for the Trusted Choice® brand program,” Myers says. “Stacy brings a wealth of experience, that when coupled with her outstanding communication and marketing skills, will make her contributions to Trusted Choice® very valuable to member agencies as well as the brand program overall.”
Heatherington comes to Trusted Choice® from New Vision Communications, a boutique PR firm, where she was marketing coordinator. She was previously associate media director for TMP Integrated Marketing Communications, the 14th largest advertising, marketing and PR agency in the world; and small business solutions account manager for RMR & Associates, an advertising, marketing and PR company.
