New Resource to Get Client Opt-in on Texting
Author: ACT News Team As client demand for communication via text messaging grows, so do both opportunities and exposures for independent agents. Proper workflows, policies, procedures and recordkeeping must be established, but agencies don't have to go it alone. ACT has worked alongside the Big “I" General Counsel to develop a sample Text Messaging Terms & Conditions Agreement that memorializes a client's express choice to use text messaging. The document also provides explanations on best practices and information on regulatory requirements as well as pointers to resources for those interested in further details.
