With more than forty-two years of experience in the risk and insurance industry, including five years as an underwriter for a national insurer and fifteen years as an executive for a regional insurance broker, Craig specializes in most aspects of commercial insurance. He has practical, in-depth experience in several areas, including real estate, construction, transportation, and petroleum marketers risk management and insurance.
Craig is a regular contributor to various international, national, and local publications. He has served as an Expert Commentator for IRMI for General Liability since 2002. He continues to provide litigation support to the legal community as an expert witness or consultant in cases involving insurance custom and practice as well as complex insurance coverage issues.
Craig has served as president of the Central Massachusetts Chapter of CPCU and as past Chairman of the Board of Governors of the Society of Certified Insurance Counselors in Austin, Texas. He is also a National Faculty member of the Society of Certified Insurance Counselors and speaks throughout the country on various commercial insurance topics.
Craig graduated from Bridgewater State University with a BS in Education and holds the Associate in Underwriting (AU), CPCU, CIC and CRM professional designations. He is a Licensed Insurance Advisor in Massachusetts and also holds a producer's license in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Pennsylvania, as well as being a Certified Insurance Consultant in Connecticut. Craig is involved in his community and has served seven years on the Town of Holden Finance Committee and six years on the Town of Holden Planning Board. He is involved with his St. Francis Church, Holden, MA, having served on the Vestry as well as a Warden.
