Scott M. LeMay, CRM, ARM, CIC is the president of LeMay+Lang, LLC, a diversified financial consultancy. Scott has worked in commercial property and casualty insurance for over thirty years.
Scott earned the Certified Risk Manager (CRM) credential from the Society of Certified Risk Managers. He holds an Associate in Risk Management (ARM) designation from the Insurance Institute of America, and he earned the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) credential from the Society of Certified Insurance Counselors.
Scott has taught professional continuing education and certification courses in insurance, including the C.I.C. program. He has written articles published in financial journals, and has been a contributing editor to books dealing with financial valuation.
Scott holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Memphis and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business (BSB) from the University of Minnesota.
Before starting his own practice, Scott was an award-winning account manager, district sales manager, and region manager for a specialist insurance company that insured primarily dealership operations. Among his awards was recognition as Commercial Producer of the Year, President's Club Member, and frequent award trip winner. He has been a corporate officer and project manager with Marsh, Inc., and Sedgwick, Inc., the largest and third largest (at that time) international insurance brokerages.
Prior to working in risk management, Scott served with distinction in the United States Army with the 4th Infantry Division and with Supreme Headquarters, Allied Powers, Europe (SHAPE) in Belgium, and practiced industrial engineering at the John Deere Harvester Works in East Moline, Illinois.
